Deriving inspiration from NYC’s subcultures, our objective was to create buzz or “hype” around the release of the Adidas and M&M’s Collab with a fun activation grounded in the community and the heart of M&Ms’ playfulness.
That M&Ms spirit inspired us to create a city-wide scavenger hunt. In deciding its starting point we asked ourselves: “Where do New Yorkers get their sugar fix?”. Easy answer: bodegas. We chose not only to put money back into the community by partnering with local bodegas, but also add an air of mystery with a scavenger hunt in anticipation of the Adidas FORUM drop.

A QR Code opened the Adidas Confirmed App page that instructed seekers where to find vending machines hidden around the city. Influencers shared their experiences and tips while willing participants waited for their winnings.
The vending machine was willy wonka style with bonus city prizes, from sneakers voucher in store to tickets attractions, events, streetwear shops and small businesses.
